Windy City Grille - Hernando

The wait was very short! The waitress was super n informative. The entree was superb. Fish fried to perfection.

Food was excellent tonight! The catfish strips and filets were light and tasted delicious. We also had the grilled pork chop and the chopped steak with mushrooms and onions, yummy!! And if you like green beans they cook them up perfectly ?

We have been a customer of Windy City Grille for many years now. The service is always on point and rarely have had a bad experience with the food. Our problem the past few times are their business practices on adding extra fees to your bill and this has caused us to make the decision not to come back to this restaurant. Last night we had dinner with friends at Windy City. We ordered the wings appetizer. Now in the menu it states that you get 10 wings at a cost of 13.99 and you have the choice of a variety of sauces. We chose the honey gold as it is a listed option. We get our bill and it has the wings at 13.99 PLUS .50 for the honey gold sauce that is supposed to come with the wings. No where on the menu does it state there is an up charge for the sauce. This has happened the past three times we have eaten at WCG. They also charge a non cash fee on your bill as well. It seems to us that this establishment has gotten into nickel and diming their customers. The place was full last night and normally has good crowds so not sure why they feel the need to put questionable fees on their checks. My point is to readers who want to eat at Windy City to pay close attention to your check when they bring it to the table. They up charge for things that are supposed to be included in the menu and charge you for things that are the cost of doing business but put it back on the customer. Buyer beware.

Always good. We come up from Como because the service is so much better!

Usually, the food is good. But today, my wings were fried too hard, and my fries were cold. The salad was great! I had to send the wings back, but they still were too hard, and I didn't bother to send them back. They put too much lemon pepper on the wings, which made them to salty.
