Godavari - Herndon

The absolutely best South Indian food in the area. Loves her rasam, biriyani and cursed rice. You can take-out the buffet best option ever!!!

I had a great lunch here with my husband. Never had South Indians, so we were really pleasantly surprised. Torf Curry was great!

We went to the buffet on Sunday. The food was authentic South Indian. Several varieties were included. There were plenty of options for beggars and non-vegetarians. Biryani tasted really good. Curries were good too. I liked the food personally and the group we were with. The only question I found was the price. It was a little pricy is my opinion. Not sure how expensive it would be if A la carte. I would definitely visit again if we were in that, regardless of the price.

Good food... Huge crowd...out server was very friendly and asked me about the Spice levels I told him to make it spicy, but he advised me to stick with medium as it would be too spicy I would be so glad that he warned me... the middle spices is actually very spicy.... the food was delicious and the service was fast to... I would soon go there.

Food was not that good on my first visit but it blew my mind on second visit. I think it depends on the chefs mood on any specific day. Most of the dishes are a hot and few are a miss.
