Matsutake Sushi & Steak - Herndon

Taste of Umi is what lured us in on this gloomy Wednesday evening. This is a decently sized amount of sushi. With tax and tip, this particular set came out to be around $100.I will say it is on the pricier side of things... but all in all, good sushi.

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and wonderful dessert. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.

This is one of the best sushi restaurants in Virginia. The sushi quality is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend!

A hair pricier than I like but very good. As they say, you get what you pay for ! They had fresh sea urchin (both Cali Japan) so I was hooked! The Cali was very good. Didn 't try the Japan because it was too expensive. My yellowtail hand roll was also delicious! I like when they add cucumber and scallion (as they should). The only thing that was not amazing was the spicy tuna roll. Not sure why but I think it was the sauce which seemed too salty to me. Otherwise, everything was yummy and fresh and I 'd definitely go back.
