Secret Garden Adult Devonshire Tea House

Recent had MT here with some friends we hadn't seen in a while they live down that way. Was SO worth the drive for us had the man of the house park our car for us (valet parking , had a table under the shaded pergola, table set with antique tea cups and saucers and roses. Gentle music playing, lovely smells in the air. The scones were to die for and the local jam was so good. Clotted cream is the only way to go with scones from now on for me. Amanda was such a delightful host, looked after us so well. Been a while since I have had tea from a tea pot it does taste different : will have to drag mine out. All in all a wonderful visit we will be back for sure !

Booked the Secret Garden as part of my friend’s birthday treat. A blustery day had us seated by the fire inside. It was very cosy indeed. Very tranquil and calming atmosphere. Plenty tea and the yummiest scones I have tasted, paired with local delicious jam and clotted cream. It’s a very special place indeed. Thanks Amanda.

We had a great girly afternoon pre celebrating my birthday. I would recommend this beautiful retreat to all. Amanda took great care of us the tea pot was never empty!!!. Thanks for a lovely time.

Spent a lovely couple of hours in great company today enjoying delicious scones, jam cream and divine tea in beautiful surrounds. A hidden gem.

Thank you very much for a lovely morning tea for myself, my friend the birthday girl, and her friend. We had a wonderful time. Tea was hot and plentiful. Scones were to die for. It was like being at Granny's for me. I can recommend a visit. I just wish it wasn't raining so we could have sat outside but the fire inside more than made up for that.
