The Chocolatier Restaurant Bar

No great first visit. we were sitting on one of the circular cabins like the old ferrisrad. that was cool until we noticed how dirty the seats were together with the table. on the places there were dirt spots, fingerprints and beats on the places above the seats and on the table hanging spears. there were also crumbs and mums from the previous moss. our waitress was warm, but cold. She just came to the table a few times, which made it difficult to treat the problems with our food. the price was high for the type of available food. our burgers were boiled and the amount of food was not sufficient for the $20 cost. when I addressed the cleanliness question with the manager, she did not seem worried and quickly released the feedback. it is regrettable that such a new restaurant was such a disappointment. besides the cleanliness and service problems the table had already worn holes in it and there were chips in the floor tiles. we will probably not return.

Everything was absolutely delicious. our server was a complete jewel. we can't wait to return.

We are longtime Hersheypark pass holders but had not eaten here yet so we were excited to come for my daughter’s birthday. In January so not tourist season when the place is jam packed with a long wait. The setting is very cool. Our server was good but he was also the only bartender and was almost constantly busy making drinks for other tables (we could see the bar from our table and was therefore slow to get to us throughout the evening. I don’t blame him at all and I understand that help is often hard to come by but we could have been in and out much faster. We were enjoying our time together and were not really upset about it but it is why I gave service four stars instead of five. The prices are definitely higher than a restaurant that is not part of an amusement park but it was what we expected (plus pass holders get a discount, so yay! . Portions were good and the food was yummy! And dessert! Wow! You can see them in the pics. My daughter got a milkshake (which was ridiculously awesome. Big shake with an entire slice of PB pie and a chocolate covered pretzel on top! We ended up taking those parts home. . The rest of us (5 people shared the fondue and had some leftover! So while it wasn’t a cheap dinner, we definitely got our money’s worth and highly recommend!
