The Old Barge - Hertford

This is a really nice pub/restaurant by the river. You can make a reservation indoors or try your luck at getting an outdoor table. All vegan options are clearly marked, which is great. We tried two appetizers, four main dishes (two burgers, one pasta, and one curry), and two desserts. I highly recommend the BBQ cauliflower burger—it’s even better than the Moving Mountains burger! Overall, it’s a fantastic pub with a lovely atmosphere, excellent service, and friendly staff.

They have now introduced their summer menu, which clearly marks all vegan options (wg). There are also many vegan beers and a vegan wine option available. We started with the olive bread and oil, which was delightful. The main menu features three key dishes: a superfood salad, a falafel berry dish, and a Katsu curry option. Definitely worth a visit!

I recently visited The Old Barge for the first time since I was a young girl, and I was pleasantly surprised by their fantastic selection of vegan dishes. From mushroom stroganoff to pomodoro, there were plenty of hearty winter options (the menu changes with the seasons), and every vegan option was clearly marked. The atmosphere was incredibly cozy, and I truly enjoyed my experience. I can’t wait to try their summer menu!

I really like this pub, I have beautiful memories that spend here with my mom time. I came to lunch today and it was really nice. there is a good selection of vegan products. I had the gnocchi, my partner, the moving mountains burger. the gnocchi was a little too oily for me, but that could be personal preference, and it did not stop me from ending it! I had the feeling that the main thing could have been a little cheaper, and I didn't like the gnocchi was two prizes, but I was charged the higher amount. I'd come back anyway. the personal was beautiful and there is a beautiful selection of beer.

Found by chance, during a bike tour as a protection in front of an spring storm. excellent British cuisine and excellent ales on hahn. very welcoming and very nice and helpful waitress. average price. when I go back there, I come back in definitiw.
