Blue Check - Hertsmere

Our group, The Emerald Circle Club, visited this restaurant for Christmas lunch. We were warmly welcomed at the door by a lovely lady who took our coats. The restaurant was spacious, clean, and had a great ambiance. The food was delicious and plentiful, with a wide variety of food and drinks available. The service was excellent, with every staff member being friendly and attentive. The bathroom was well-maintained and had interesting artwork on display. This was my first visit, but it certainly won't be my last. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 4, the service a rating of 5, and the atmosphere a rating of 5. We had a wonderful evening last night for our work Christmas party. There were 13 of us and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals - they were hot, tasty, and the portion sizes were good. The roast potatoes were excellent, the steak was cooked perfectly, and the staff were all fantastic. It was a fantastic night and I highly recommend this restaurant. A truly well professionally run restaurant offering good wholesome food, with great friendly service. Surprisingly busy for a Thursday lunchtime.
