The server forgot our order and when we asked her about it, she responded with, "Oh well, I guess we're both having a bad day!" We will not be returning to this restaurant.

A very handy and good little store. A little of everything but not a dollar store. Booze, dry goods,cold beer and excellent baklava in the back.

This restaurant and store is a hidden gem that offers a wide variety of products. The owners, who were friendly yet reserved, gave us a comprehensive tour and explanation of their establishment. Although we were unable to eat during our visit, the tempting menu made us hungry just thinking about it. If you find yourself in the Hessel, Michigan area, be sure to give this place a try for a taste of hometown charm.

I would not recommend stopping at this restaurant unless you enjoy being shouted at. The owners are extremely unfriendly. It is surprising that they are still open, but perhaps they have enough one-time customers to stay afloat.

I had a terrible breakfast experience at this restaurant. The eggs were overcooked, the ham tasted like lunch meat, and the toast had an oily taste rather than buttery. I asked for water but never received any, and the service was very slow. Additionally, the meal was quite expensive.
