Hexham Bowling Club

The family had a nice lunch today. this was a Monday and, while we did not have to book, the club was very busy. our group enjoyed mongolian beef, chicken chow mien and satay chicken from the lunch menu. the portions were a good size:...from rice, the selected plate and a mini spring roller. the prices were reasonable. the main menu was also available. the prices were also quite reasonable. the service was fast.

We had the banquet meal for 10, it was ok. not great, but ok for price. the venue is in the regular club atmosphere as they would expect, the personal was friendly enough and the beer beautiful and cold. and we would return.

It's been almost 30 years since we were there. the club is modern and fresh looking and very welcoming. the bistro is spacious with a great menu, fantastic trips and fast and efficient service.

Incredible and tasteless eating filthy besteck rude coworkers who would do better back than at the door. don't waste your money here.

The staff at the Bistro spoke little to no English. Didn 't even understand the word "hot. I asked if they added a spice to the food because I am allergic. The staff talked amongst themselves but had no idea. I left in disgust. The front...desk area were apologetic but utterly unhelpful. This bistro is operated contrary to current food safety laws which require operators to safely serve customers. I wouldn 't expect a club to allow such an operation. Someone could easily die. Appalling in 2020.
