We stood for about 15 minutes, had to ask a server if we waited or if we seated ourselves. Once sat, server brought us an appetizer we ordered and just kinda laid it down. No enjoy the food or anything. Staff kept glancing and staring at myself and partner throughout the whole experience, it was so often that we caught them multiple times and we were beginning to feel uncomfortable. Once done with appetizer, server came and retrieved it and did not ask if it was good, if we enjoyed it, just said what else will you have . From that point on, we had to ask for check and leave. The customer service is not it. The attention to detail is not it. The staff working there is very nosy and not welcoming.
This restaurant isn't reinventing the wheel or doing anything particularly amazing when it comes to its dishes but it provides the perfect homey meal when you just don't feel like cooking after a long day. It's filling and balanced. I'll take it for what it is. Drinks: I had the Hennessy Margarita which I've never heard of before in my life but it tasted good. One was enough. Ambiance: Very quaint and cozy inside. Warm lighting, somewhat sultry. A place to feel comfortable like a neighborhood bar but a bit more upscale. My date had the chicken with slightly sauteed vegetables (onion, pepper) on top with maduros and Moro rice. A solid meal. I had 6 large lamb chops which 3 I took home with garlic sauce, mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies (zucchini and squash. Overall the lamb chops dish I could've made at home better but for a lazy I don't feel like cooking night out it did the job. The garlic sauce was flavorful. I could do without the veggies it needed some seasoning it reminded me of something you get from your school cafeteria. The mashed potatoes tasted instant.
Nice place with a good wine list. Atmosphere is good with live music and food is pretty good. Just beware is not truly Spanish food, but more like Cuban food with a Spanish hint. The prices are good and the staff is attentive. There is limited parking but you can find street parking around the block. I wish the food was a more true Spanish for this to have been a great place. I had the churrasco. While it was good to the taste, you could clearly see that was flatten with a tenderizing mallet and was way too thin. It felt more like a palomilla. The arroz with shrimp was a huge portion. The whole fried grouper was very good but on the expensive side. We also had a tuna steak that while it was good, it didn't fit the theme of the restaurant since it was an Asian style dish. Overall the place is good and I would come back, especially on a Wednesday that they have wine bottles at 50% off for any wine bottle from $30 to $100,
This restaurant is located in hialeah fl, were the mix of Cuban and Spain cuisine are really good and tasty, the customer service is perfect AND THE BACA FRITA BURGER IS MY FAVORITE!!! I recommend 100
Went today will never go back horriable service we were 4 of us when we arrive we were told there weren’t tables and the ones they had were reserved for 3:30 it was 2:00 pm I guess they meant eat fast and leave. I said well if we can will eat if not we will leave. Then the lady that was serving very rude. Didn’t even gave silverware’s.food was ok. But service was awful they just kept hurting up to see if we would leave . I said to the lady as soon as we were finished we would leave. Anyway to top it off we get the bill and the tip was already included. That’s wasn’t nice of them I think we should tip depending on quality of food nd service. We shouldn’t have eaten there but had my dad insist in trying the place out.
