The Deer Lodge - Hiawassee

The food was great! Large portions and everything was perfectly cooked. The waitress was so sweet, happy and on things. We never had to ask for anything. I would definitely recommend eating at Deer Lodge.

Everything was fantastic and well worth the price! The ribeye was excellent, the onion rings were the best I've ever had, and the cakes were delicious. The staff was very friendly as well. We’ve just discovered our new favorite dining spot!

You definitely get your money's worth here. Be prepared to wait a little, but it's definitely worth it. Just a heads-up: I haven't seen a sign indicating cash only, so be sure to check beforehand. Thank you, Lord, for the rainy days that have brought us to this place!

I can't express enough how fantastic this restaurant is. This was our first visit, and it was definitely worth the trip from Ellijay.

We stopped in Friday on our way to Murphy. This place is awesome. This is our 4th time visiting but haven't been in a while. The people were so nice. They even opened a side door so I could get in in my wheelchair. The food is sooo good. Try the onion rings. You won't be disappointed in anything you order.
