Magpie's Family Llc - Hicksville

I was traveling on business and took a side journey to visit my sister aunt. Not having a lot of time since I had to be in Columbus OH at 7:00 PM, my sister suggested Magpie's as it was very close to her house. Both my sister aunt had salads, nice sized at that. I ordered a double hamburger and some jalapeño poppers. I like the fact they don't use frozen patties but make the burgers by hand. Tasty burger too! We went at lunchtime and there was about 4 tables/booths occupied when we walked in. By the time we left the place was packed, that should say something there. They just moved the business to this new location a week ago so we had a hiccup or two but the server made up for it. The prices are amazing, I thought I went back in time!

Never disappointed with this place. Hole n the wall really. If you don 't know or heard of it you may miss it but for real, check this place out! Won 't be disappointed

Stopped in for breakfast. Typical smalltown restaurant. Nice to see employees wearing masks and social distancing with half the tables blocked off. However none of the patrons had masks! The carpet was filthy! Even tho the bread was toasted I could tell the bread was stale. The hash browns were homemade and very good. The grits were also tasty. You don't find grits on the menu very often. I would have given 3 stars if they required patrons to wear masks

My bestfriends and I come to Magpie's every Friday morning. Always great service and great food. My absolute favorite is the Breakfast Skillet!
