The Steakout - High Springs

It is rare to find a good steak sandwich in fl. we were in the opposite and I saw them on Google cards and thought to stop there for lunch. had no idea what I was there and just ordered a cheese steak with a whistle. when I started eating, I was shocked. I have eaten in the best shops in and around phila there and this sandwich was just as good. then my wife pointed to the Amoroso box on the deck. that's the key. everyone can cook steak, but the roll is always the key. So when I was done, I went back to the drinking money and had a big talk with them. super people! and from phila they know what a sandwich should be. many thanks!

It's the best cheese steak I had outside pa. I know I don't have the sauce on it, but they have the whisky!

Cheesesteaks were decent, but I had better travel to mine. not enough cheese on them and the meat was good, but not amazingly spiced. service was friendly and top notch, service alone I would like to give almost this place 4 stars. I wish only two cheese steaks with 15% drinking money were not $30. good for a small town.

The service and eating were great. a great place for a short piece. a must try. I'm back.

Unfortunately, we didn’t even think of taking pictures until after we were finished! Everything was gone because it was ALL SO GREAT. We had 4 “Phillies” and a chicken sub and they were all delicious. We’ll be back soon!
