Explorer Cafe - Highland

Beautiful coffee, good rolls and a beautiful environment. They lose a star in because we were not sure whether it was table service or counter. the staff didn't say how we stood and the signs weren't quite clear. would still go back without doubt.

Part of the tiso Outdoor shop in the center of aviemore. with the usual selection of coffee and other drinks. a selection of cake toasties and beautiful tray bakeries in the offer. it reminds me of costa, but with extra suppe and much better view.

After a long rewarding day in the mountains, this is the best place to relax and have some delicious warm comfort to eat. I would recommend her suppe and a sandwich offer, her suppe was extremely tasty and hearty and the sandwich was for to die (bacon, brie and cranberry). I visit this place every time I'm in the opposite.

A little hidden staircase in tiso, but it is worth hunting down. good and well appreciated coffee, with a fantastic view of cairngorm was enough to convince me to return to lunch later. the food was fantastic, but warned, great drinking, even with a great appetit of a round I found the burger hard to finish! the whole party enjoyed eating there. there is a small but more than reasonable soft area that the children enjoyed while they waited to eat, and again, while we finished. great eating and drinking and friendly staff, could not ask for more. possibly a new favorite in aviemore

I visited this restaurant three times in five days and probably spent more on coffee than on merchandise (Tiso is an excellent shop by the way). The coffee was excellent, with a lovely selection of cakes and a truly fantastic full English/Scottish breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the view of the Cairngorms was outstanding. Our dog companions were also welcome at the restaurant.
