Galmisdale Bay Cafe - Highland

A huge thank you to everyone at Galmisdale Bay cafe. Had a superb meal on Tuesday and could not have been looked after better. The coleslaw is awesome! Fish and chips incredible and amazing coffee. I can't think of many places with such superb views and food, great staff, lovely relaxed atmosphere. Can't wait to come back. See you soon Eigg.

We sailed to Eigg and ended up having breakfast, lunch and late lunch here We just couldn't stay away! Great food with veggie and vegan options. Lovely cakes. Great service. And just stunning location, especially in the blazing sun with a terrace looking South to Ardnamurchan peninsula. Or you could get the same view from inside. Great that they served alcohol too. Just a shame it shut about 5pm.

Great food and drink. Friendly service. Visited here several times during our stay and can highly recommend the Isle of Eigg Brewery beers. Many thanks.

What a delightful cafe with stunning views. The food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. We ate here when we first arrived on our 4 day stay, and returned for dinner one evening. The service is great and service quick. A lovely environment to sit and have a meal or a spot of lunch. The only slight downside for us was dogs moving freely around the cafe and they were a pest, sitting beside us looking for us to give them food. The dog owners didn’t pay attention to this or call their dogs back. Not everyone likes dogs. Otherwise it was a lovely environment to sit in and gaze out the large windows.

The Galmisdale cafe is such a gift for anyone visiting staying on Eigg. Delicious seafood (the mussels could not have been fresher and more succulent), and all the dishes are great value. Be sure to check out the shop as well. An excellent selection of produce, baked goods (arrive fresh on Thursdays) and anything you will need for your stay on Eigg.
