In The Park - Highland

My partner and I have visited this hotel multiple times and dined at the restaurant on each visit. The food is outstanding and the staff are extremely welcoming and skilled. The restaurant is split into several rooms, creating a cozy and intimate atmosphere rather than feeling like you are dining in a large, crowded space. We will definitely be returning whenever we are in Inverness again. 10/10.

We had a fantastic family lunch at this restaurant. The food and service were excellent, and the setting was lovely. We all had a great time and will definitely be coming back. It's not too far from Inverness, probably a £10 taxi ride at most. Definitely recommend checking it out.

The restaurant has a beautiful setting, with an impressive and comfortable building and friendly staff. The food and service were excellent, and everyone enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere. The potholes on the entrance driveway could use some repair, but overall, the experience was very positive. Great job, guys!

Hotel restaurants do not always do well as ‘restaurants’ they are an adjunct to the main event. The more remote hotels can be hit or miss but the Park restaurant at the Loch Ness Country House Hotel is definitely in the former category: a hotel that runs a very good restaurant. The menu is fairly limited but the quality and presentation of the food is first class. The vegetarian option tends to be risotto and dessert options include a good cheese plate. Staff are very friendly and the service good. It’s on the expensive side (e.g. £4 for a small pot of tea), but I presume that people who book know this in advance!

Booked a birthday meal here for 2 people at 8pm on Saturday. We were left seated in the waiting area for an hour before we were taken to our table at 9pm, staff didn't explain why were were seated so late. When the food did come out it was a case of style over substance, a note to the chef if you are going to try and make your food look fancy at least make sure it tastes good first. The food served to us was cold, tasteless and utterly disappointing. They are trying to be too big for their boots, I would've rather had a simple dish that tasted great than something that looked great but lacked in everything else. AVOID. I will never return here.
