The Clachan Highland Pub

We were staying nearby and went two nights in a row at the urging of a neighbor there. I had a meat pie and the crust was magic ... as was the Smoky Old Fashioned. Superb. This was one of the best restaurants in our tour around Scotland. I long to go back, and we DID find the staff very friendly and accommodating. Very busy and for good reason, so do book before going there.

Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The menu was a bit limited, but the food was fantastic. The atmosphere was great and the staff were very pleasant.

Fantastic local pub. The staff was great and enjoyed chatting with some of the locals and other travelers. The food was wonderful as well. Great place to stop and have a pint or meal!

During our two-night stay in Dornie, my family dined at the Clachan Pub for dinner on both nights. The food was excellent and the staff was fantastic. With five of us enjoying two meals each, we had the opportunity to try a variety of dishes from the menu, all of which were delicious.

We were unaware of this restaurant until stumbling upon it by chance during a quick visit. As it was the only open establishment, we inquired about a table. The waitress asked if we had made a reservation, to which we replied that we had not, as we were not local and had limited dining options. Unfortunately, the response was the same - reservations were required.
