Tianavaig View - Highland

We had trouble finding a table at a few other places and ended up here. The fish and chips were good, but the service was a bit disorganized. The atmosphere was average, similar to a Perkins for those familiar with restaurants in the US. Overall, it was decent enough.

We ordered fish and chips, salmon, potato tart, and fresh cooked vegetables. We also had an apple crumble with ice cream for dessert. The food was delicious and all dishes were prepared well. The portions were very generous.

On the evening before our departure from Skye, we were unable to find a restaurant to dine at without a reservation. We ended up walking into this establishment, where the lady who greeted us seemed unenthusiastic about her job. She seated us and took our order for four fish and chips, risotto, and soup, along with a few drinks. Unfortunately, the soup and risotto were very disappointing, with us only managing to eat a small portion of the risotto. The fish and chips were decent, but overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences in Scotland. I would not recommend this place. Instead, I suggest getting takeout from a pizzeria or fish and chip shop rather than dining here.

The food is very good, fish is fresh and well cooked. The staff is very friendly, highly recommended!

Excellent medium rare steak, great fish&chips and delicious homemade apple crumble. Nice and friendly service.
