We ordered gluten free garlic bread to share as a starter, and gluten free fish and chips and halloumi burger and chips as main courses. The food tasted delicious and the portions were generous. The atmosphere was local and cozy. The total cost of the meal, including a glass of red wine and a pink gin, came to £36. The restaurant is very dog friendly, which was a plus. I deducted one star because there was a 30-minute delay between the garlic bread starter and the main course, which left us feeling quite hungry by the time it arrived. Despite this, the overall experience was fabulous as always.
We dined at this restaurant twice while staying at Wildside Highland Lodges, and it was highly recommended to us. We would definitely suggest checking it out! We were warmly welcomed, including our chocolate Labrador, Paisley. They even provided dog biscuits for her! The food was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed all of our meals. The service was friendly, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. The cozy atmosphere with a log burner was the perfect touch. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area or staying at Wildside Highland Lodges - you won't be disappointed! Thank you for making our visit to Scotland so welcoming.
Amazing food at a great price in a fantastic location with top-notch service. A delightful surprise. It's recommended to book in advance. We tried the Sunday Roast, Nut Roast, and even got some extra beef slices for our dog. And the cheesecake was absolutely delicious - we highly recommend it!
Had a great meal at the restaurant. It would be slightly disrespectful to call it pub food. It was stunning. Staff all very friendly and good at their job. Highly recommended. Best of luck for the season. Thank you. Ryan (South Devon)
We didn't stay here or have dinner. We were about midpoint for our drive from Aberdeen to the highlands and drive along Loch Ness. Small cozy pub with very friendly staff. We had the cider and they directed us to the best way to view Loch Ness
