Applebee's Grill - Highland

I went there on a Saturday around 6pm with a friend to celebrate a birthday, we were told it would be a 30 minute wait, there was an entire section with two tops empty. Now this could have been because they were short staffed, but for a weekend ? I have worked in food service in both restaurant and banquet service so I do know how hard it is to find good people. We did end up leaving and going elsewhere

It is an ideal place as a restaurant,And personally we really like going to the bar, excellent drinks.

Not starting good. Came in at 6:45 pm on Friday. Was told it would be a 45 minute wait. That was annoying because I could see 12 clean tables ready for customers. Happily we were seated after 20 minutes. The server was pleasant, and quick. The table was wobbly. The food was good, but there is an up charge in price for anything other than the very basic meal. I gave a lower rating for the annoyance of being told there would be a 45 minute wait.

We always have good service and good food when we come. Good kid

There was a lil wait, but kind of expected that on a weekend. But it was all worth it.
