We always make it a point to eat here on an annual journey to this area. Very comfortable in downtown with easy access and parking. Have eaten again last night and it seems only better!
On this beautiful Sunday afternoon at one of the most romantic and picturesque sites of this fabulous mountain town for lunch on the terrace. The food is delicious, as always together with great service and atmosphere second to none! I often come here to capture beautiful weddings on canvas in an inheritance. Last night was a beautiful summer wedding in the stunning Old Edwards @halfmilefarm. My precious couple here said their vows on this peaceful mountain lake. Family and friends have come to this very special place to celebrate their love. The rains threatened all afternoon, but stopped until the ceremony was over and cocktails were enjoyed under the tent. Did the mother let nature go with a furious typical summer thunder????????? I finished my painting under the tent, fortunately oil and water do not mix. I was thrilled to have this very special moment of her? Best Day Ever?! Gina Strumpf Wedding Artist
We ate here on a Saturday in June. Could be a reservation so we could enter our name and they would call/text us. This is not a problem because there are so many great shops in this city. I got a call that our table was ready. Seated and enjoyed our little place to wait for some food. We enjoyed our appetizers and our lunch. Service was great and we both had the same. Love this city, although it is very busy in summer.
The food was good. The service was great. It was very pleasant to sit outside in the vineyard. It was a perfect 72°F. Sweet tea was excellent. Not too sweet and a little on the strong side. I like that. I had a bowl of chili and corn bread. It was okay, but it didn't have much taste. I didn't want it sharp, but it needed a little more. Salt and pepper helped. I also had the Smoked Trout Melt. It was good, but the capers overwhelmed the rest of the sandwich. The rye bread really weighed it.
The food was delicious. The service was efficient...too efficient. We went for an anniversary dinner, as our server was aware. We anticipated a leisurely evening. But I had hardly taken the first sip of my wine when the entree was in front of me. Nothing to do but eat it. End of story we had paid and left within an hour. Great place to eat if you are in a big hurry.
