Gluten Free Colorado Bistro

Had the gnocchi with chicken. The meal was flavorful and filling. My wife had the fish and chips. Fish was fishy tasting and not very good. The coleslaw was pretty good. Had the Jameson with Irish cream martini which was fine. My wife had the chocolate martini which she thought was to strong. Had the Berry cake with marscapone which good, but very dense. The fried pickles were good. Overall, just an ok dinner.

The waiter was very friendly. However, the Beyond burger was served cold and was still frozen in the center. Additionally, the runner forgot to bring silverware, so by the time I received it, my food had also cooled down. I've dined here before, so this might have been an off night. Unfortunately, it felt quite pricey for the experience we had.

I've visited this Indulge location multiple times, and I find it to be more intimate and cozy compared to the SouthGlenn location. I really enjoyed my selection of red wines, while my girlfriend opted for one of the white wine flights. All the wines we tried were excellent. We also shared the crab cakes and the flatbread topped with goat cheese and plums, both of which were delicious. I'm already looking forward to dining there again!

In our experience with more upscale restaurants, the servers typically take the time to explain the dishes and wines, which was missing here. Additionally, the tables were crowded together, making it difficult to enjoy our meal as we could hear everything happening around us, leading to a very loud atmosphere. For the value we received, you could easily have a better experience at a place like Olive Garden. At this price point, it might be better to opt for the Melting Pot, where you can expect outstanding service and a more romantic ambiance. Instead, the setting felt more akin to an Applebee's, and our server appeared to be stretched too thin to provide the level of service we anticipated, especially considering our bill was $120 for two people, not including tip. While the food was good, the overall experience fell short of expectations.

First impressions if you haven't been here before aren't great. The server, while attentive and friendly was wearing filthy clothes. He should not have been in the front of the house. He was also the bartender and at one point was sitting on the back bar where drinks are mixed. The floor around our table was covered in food and obviously was not cleaned between seatings. The restaurant wasn't busy so there was no excuse for this. The food is overall good and the service was good too.
