Pho Nam Bac - HIGHWOOD

I visited Pho Nam Bac for a late lunch and had a fantastic experience. The flank steak pho was delicious, and the shrimp pho was equally tasty. The spring rolls were wonderfully fresh and flavorful, paired with a nice dipping sauce. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Although it’s a simple spot in a strip mall, it’s definitely worth a visit. Next time, I plan to try the egg rolls. I will definitely include this restaurant in my regular dining lineup. The only thing I wish they had was ice for the beverages. I really love this place!

Good stuff! I really enjoy their pho, but I wish they wouldn't cook their noodles so far ahead. At least it seems like they do, as the noodles are usually all stuck together and need a little coaxing to separate. Regardless, that's the most horrible thing I've noticed! The broth is delicious, the veg appears quite fresh, you can get things spicy, if you ask nicely. Good food, good people. It isn't fancy, but it sure is tasty!

I love Vietnamese food, and Pho Nam Bac is my go-to place on the North Shore! They offer fresh, delicious meals with generous portions and healthy, flavorful ingredients. I have ordered from them many times and have never been disappointed!

Fantastic beef pho. We got meatballs and brisket. I'd give five stars but the shrimp spring rolls just had too many noodles inside of it. And I wanted a piece of mint but that's just me. the pho was outstanding

The food is decent if you need a quick pho fix, and their banh mi is quite tasty too. I’m giving it three stars because I overheard the manager yelling at an employee to add a lot more ice to my coffee while taking out most of the coffee. As a result, my drink ended up being mostly ice. Considering the price, I felt it was a real letdown.
