We had planned to have a Saturday afternoon coffee and cake here. the service was terrible. the personal has never recognized our existence, so after about min I had to ask one of them if we could order something. that they graciously allowed, but it. she saw another one to bring us two coffees. when they pay, they helped tap themselves. we received no bill, but only something called info printing." a well-known practice for restaurants that cheat the tax services. not sure whether that was really her plan or another sign of the incompetence of the personal. when we left, we found out why we hadn't seen a personal person for so long: they'd rather smoke outside than help customers. do not go there, the service is cruel.

The service was something to fussy. cakes coffee were ok, but nothing very special as people mentioned it before. beautiful ambiente and certainly not a bad stop after a walk through the palast.

It is worth taking a break from wandering around the castle to stop at caffe on the ground. very beautiful interieur. a beautiful selection of cakes. tables also available outside. employees were very nice and helpful.

Schlosscafe benrath used to be one of my favorite cafés in benrath and I went to the breakfast and coffee several times with friends. but the visit last Sunday was the worst experience I ever had and very disappointed about the staff and the service cold, arrogant and unfriendly. when I ordered cake take away from this cafe, I thought they have this service all the time. So last Sunday I went there and wanted to order a few cakes to get away. I went straight to the reception, at the time there was a staff responsible for coffee making, a waiter waited for ordering, another waitress went around. I was there where I waited for more than minutes, they noticed me, but no one asks them if they need help, they just ignore them as air! a few minutes later, the waiter finally asked me what I want. I said I wanted to order cake to get away. without thinking the personal responsible for making coffee, said no, the answer was so cold and no explanation at all. then the waiter and the other waitress simply said that it is Sunday, they do not offer any take. but still, cold, arrogant and no smile. the coffee staff still says no. okay, if they have this policy, they can explain to a customer in a proper way and be kind, right? Why come up with this bad one? very disappointed about this cafe. they do not care about customers and do not care about the frequently visited customers at all. they do not know that a good business is based on good service and carefree about any customer, call based on mouth and loyal customers. I will never visit this cafe again, and surely I will not recommend any friends about it.

I really liked the salmon salad in the splendid terrasse, with the gardens and canals, ducks and womderful trees. Take a moment to relax in this wonderful castle, eat and drink calmly with time and enjoy a very reasonable meal or cafe.
