It was easy to catch the bar delicate eye when another group came on request table. At this moment it was announced that the kitchen closed and they would only order beer. This was good before the hour was released. Not impressed and experienced such a bad service in years.
Really friendly and competent staff, good food (the steak of Sirloin is a must), perfect location and just a really good experience!
Nice place from the place to lunch. The service was fast and the food was very delicious. Mostly German articles on the menu, but they also offered hamburgers and veggie burgers. The atmosphere inside was very pleasant.
The Knochenhauer Amtshaus is known as one of the finest half timbered houses in all of Germany. It was the home of the Butchers Guild since 1529 but was destroyed in WWII bombing in April 1945. The structure was rebuilt at significant cost between 1987-1989....Even if you choose not to eat here, you should visit the square and marvel at the carving which was carefully replicated. We ate here on a beautiful autumn day with sunshine and warm temperatures and thus chose to sit outside. Our order was taken immediately and food arrived within a reasonable time frame. Remember, this is NOT a fast food restaurant and your food is prepared after you order it. We had Fish, Gnochi Beef Rouladen, and Lamb Chops (see photos). This was some of the best Rouladen I have had and others reported their food was excellent (we shared bites of the food so I can attest that all was excellent). Seating inside looks cozy and would be appropriate if the weather is not good.
We had a very, very bad eating on a Friday evening in our old home.21,90€ for a white carving that was cold and tough like a shoe sole.Definitively not freshly roasted and only warmed up.As an appetizer there were picky laughs from the Swedish, which was by no means similar to a laughter, as though he could grow through.Everything in all was the
