Garden Cafe - Hillcrest New Zealand

Can not fault the food or cleanliness of this café.    Quaint place, very friendly service.    Whenever I  have visitors I like to take them out to Garden Café as I can always ensure the food will be delicious and oh my goodness the Burgers are fantastic!  Garden place may have lost some pizazz over the years however Garden Café is still as delightful to dine at as always, just a pity they are not open Sundays.

Had lunch here with my parents last week. Small colourful cafe in garden place. Good outdoor seating lovely spot on a fine day despite some colourful characters sitting close by enjoying a very animated conversation. Ordered chicken n avo sandwich, kumera chips with aoli which were very yummy and a couple of cakes. The food was all good. Very friendly staff. The cafe was clean and the cabinet food all looked appealing and at a good price. While this is somewhat of a more traditional cafe without the glitz n glamour of many modern cafes I cannot fault the staff, price or food.

Me hubby come here everyday it is open, been doing so now for 12 years. The owners are awesome people you couldn't get the great customer service they deliver anywhere else in town.And their iced coffees are truly divine and the only place your likely to find that actually makes it with milk and not water ice.We will continue to come here for another 12 years!

It had great ambience and atmosphere... there was a lovely busy buzz to the café...I ordered taco's and my friends ordered chips and soup and pancakes...it was quick service and efficient...

Pleasant environment, very friendly staff, tasty sausage roll and delicious milkshake. Yes, it hit the right spot. It was very enjoyable and I'll be back. : .
