Arens Grill - Hillingdon

The restaurant had a nice setting and friendly staff, but the food was utterly disappointing. The wings looked bad and tasted even worse, with the bourbon sauce resembling tarmac. The Tex Mex fries were a soggy mess and virtually inedible. My wife's calamari was also awful, leaving us feeling unwell on the way home. I give 1 star for the setting and staff, and the fact that the manager waived the charge for the wings.

Hi , the establishment is beautiful , we popped in for drinks but decided to have dinner as well . What a disappointment the chips were so deep fried and sickly , the chicken wings again deep fried and gristly We wouldn’t eat here again as very over priced for what you get the quality of food is poor . However I would have an evening out for drinks here .

To begin with, the ordering system at this restaurant is not very efficient: some items are missing from the menu and sometimes it doesn't work at all. Additionally, the prices are quite high for the average quality of the food. The drinks were also disappointing, with small Aperol Spritz and better off-the-can Amstel. Furthermore, there was a lack of atmosphere in the restaurant, making it feel empty. Compared to other pubs in the area, this place was noticeably quieter on a Friday afternoon. The slow service was another downside, with tables that ordered after us receiving their food and drinks before us. Overall, I don't think we will be returning to this restaurant.

We enjoyed a delicious Sunday Roast at this restaurant. The customer service was outstanding. It was our first time dining here and we will definitely be back again in the future!

Sunday lunch poor quality. Beef grisly. Potatoes obviously frozen and cooked hours before being served. Yorkshire pudding and gravy tasteless and cauliflower cheese strange concoction with other veg. Meal sent back but replacement just as bad.
