Unfortunately, the restaurant lacks any sort of ambiance. We were a couple and there was one other table occupied with a seating of 4. We were sat in what is quite a large dining area that is completely soulless, with no music and minimal decor. Just not a very nice place to eat. We ordered poppadoms which were covered in onions and herbs which were spicy and very good indeed. Ordering a bottled beer, I asked if it would be cold and was told it would be. Having had many issues with restaurants serving tepid beer in the past, I realised that there was draught available and opted for that. Low and behold, IT WAS WARM! UGH! My partner had a cold main which was great, and I had a curry which was supposed to be spicy but alas it wasn 't, with the cubed chicken having the texture of having been frozen. Although not a great first visit, because of the staff I will definitely give it at least one more visit and hope to be able to give it a much nicer review.
I highly recommend this restaurant as our favorite spot for delicious Indian takeout. The food is consistently flavorful and satisfying. Once you try it, you won't be able to go back!
The pani puri at this restaurant is outstanding. The customer service is excellent and the food is delicious. I really enjoy the yummy dishes they offer here.
My family have brought takeaway for us from this place again. And hands down it was fantastic! We had garlic nan which was soft and fluffy, veg handi which was flavoursome and indulgent, paneer butter masala which was to die for and the Chinese fried rice is faultless. I can’t comment on the Service it was takeaway. I’ve eaten in the restaurant once. The decor isn’t grand but the food is consistently top notch. It’s a far cry from the other Indian restaurants in the area. I was in Spice Rack Lounge and I won’t be returning there. Red Klove? Any day!
This restaurant is often quieter than it should be, but it offers a diverse menu beyond the standard dishes. The Drums of Heaven are wings with a delicious salty crust topped with a mix of dried chili and coriander, which is a favorite among all the restaurants we frequent. The Lamb Adraki features tender lamb cubes in a flavorful ginger chili curry, another popular dish. The Methi Chicken, Pepper Chicken, and Pani Puri are also high-quality options. The restaurant has a well-stocked bar with a good selection of draught beers. Despite facing strong competition in the area, this restaurant deserves to be more bustling.
