I always try to support local businesses, but this experience was a huge disappointment. This is the only restaurant I can’t recommend to anyone, and I certainly won’t return. I wanted to place an order, but then I got yelled at from the kitchen, which was really off-putting. They were shouting about a "fat one" coming, and it was all pretty ridiculous. What a shame.

We also tried a cheese quesadilla, which was presented as three cheese tacos standing upright. The tortillas were deep-fried, pale, and spongy, dripping with oil. Although the guacamole had a nice flavor, the chunks were too large to scoop up with a small chip, so we ended up leaving it untouched. Honestly, I could have made a better meal at home (and I have, many times). I truly want to support local businesses, but this one needs significant improvement. It seemed like the dish was prepared by an inexperienced fry cook. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place at all.

I can't express enough how amazing the food is at this place. The staff is friendly and very helpful as well. The salsa verde is outstanding, and the guacamole is the best I've ever tasted. I highly recommend trying the tacos, flautas, and chilaquiles. Service: Takeout Dining Occasion: Dinner

A hidden gem of Mexico with rich flavors – I absolutely loved the homemade mole!

During my last visit, I tried the enchiladas verde with chicken, but this time I opted for steak. The sauce was tangy and delicious, and it came topped with fresh avocado and tomatoes, along with a wonderful cheese that complemented the dish without overpowering it. Any negative reviews, like the one from someone who compared their beef tacos to chopped-up Steak-Ums, simply miss the mark. The beef is cut into small, high-quality steak cubes, which I prefer over shredded meat. The chicken was also all white meat and equally delightful. The tacos reminded me of the soft ones you’d find at good restaurants in Mexico, served with a slice of lime, cilantro, and both red and green sauces on the side. I don’t hand out 5-star ratings lightly, but this place absolutely deserves it. The food is truly delicious, and honestly, it’s the best Mexican food I’ve enjoyed in the 40 years I've been eating it. While it’s not really a dine-in restaurant—there’s waitress service, but only a small table or two—I’m perfectly fine with getting takeout for outstanding food like this. If you visit on a Saturday afternoon, I suggest ordering in person since they were too busy to answer the phone when I called. Clearly, many others share my enthusiasm for this restaurant. The storefront is clean and modest, with limited parking available in front and more nearby. The menu is diverse, featuring many intriguing, non-traditional dishes. I can’t wait to explore more of the offerings, and to the owners: I commend you for creating these exceptional dishes!
