Freddy's Restaurant - Hilo

Korean chicken was ok but kind of on the sweet side for me. Also ordered the hamburger steak and was disappointed. Not top quality but if your really hungry then the Korean chicken never fails.

Disappointing Service staff was less than friendly, literally reminded me they didn't want to be there. Personally, I ordered the corned beef hash, over medium eggs and toast. Corned beef hash was 98% hash and 2% corned beef. More essence of corned beef hash. One egg came out near over medium, the other was beyond over hard. Toast was great, buttery as it should be My main issue was with sanitation. The soda fountain needed cleaned badly. After seeing specks on the lid of my drink, I open it to find even more. The photo attached doesn't do it justice. Think pulpy orange juice if stirred.

Management sucks. She doesn't know how to take care of the customers. Think she knows it all.. No respect. Playing with baby at work.let Daughter in pjs ask for food behind counter. That does not look good for business.

45 minute wait for 2 burgers and some fries. They are trying to run a fast food and sit down restaurant out of the same kitchen. It's not large enough..

Our small group of pensioners go to breakfast every three weeks at 7AM. It has excellent food and at reasonable prices. You also have a take-out sandwich selection along with a small convenience store. Your building(s) are slightly older. This is where the locals hang.
