Kula Shave Ice - Hilo

We had a great time at this charming shave ice shop. We tried a variety of flavors and they were all delicious. The chocolate flavor stood out as the best, and the lava flow was a favorite. The toppings included unique options like ube and condensed milk, allowing us to create our own version of halu halu. The prices were reasonable compared to fancier shave ice places, making this a highly recommended spot. It's a perfect way to cool down after exploring the farmers market.

We tried the dish called Local, which featured Soursop and Lilikoi flavors topped with Haupia cream and served with poi at the bottom. The flavors were refreshing. We also ordered the Big Island Love, which included papaya pieces with coconut and lime flavors, topped with a generous amount of condensed coconut milk. We absolutely loved it!

While shopping at the Hilo Farmers market, we decided to check out this restaurant. We received super friendly and helpful service, and we absolutely loved the shaved ice! I wish I could find a place like this in NYC. The coconut cream was definitely a 10/10!

My family went on a market day and it was a great refreshing tasty on a hot day.
