Awful food knowledge and overall terrible experience. My partner picked up food from here. He asked if there was any nuts as he is deathly allergic and was told there was none in the Caesar salad. Got home and opened up the plates to find something that appeared to be nuts so we called to confirm that there were none and was assured it should be safe. My partner took one bite of the salad and started having an anaphylactic reaction. We had to go to the ER room to get treatment. Not only did he spend 70 dollars on some food that he could not eat but had to pay for hospital bills.

Went there a few years ago and it was good. Ordered the nachos and they were inedible. They clearly used Costco tortilla chips that were stale, the cashew nacho sauce was ice cold, the jackfruit was in huge chunks and also really cold, it was just a hot mess. For $18, I would expect better.

We were trying to eat here around 4.30pm. They close at 5 pm . When we walked inside the guy behind the counter rolled his eyes. Like he was bothered and said only take out . He had a real bad attitude and caused our family to not want to eat here at all. We left and went elsewhere . I would have given 0 stars . Horrible customer service . Stopped for lunch and food was great! We had the nachos which were delicious but a huge portion (can definitely share), and the cali rootz burger which was very good as well. We also tried the lemon loaf which was very fresh and lemony! It was a peaceful little cafe and I would definitely recommend their vegan dishes! Very friendly staff as well!
