We were now in the Hotel Zum Schwarzen Ross for the second time with the family (4 adults and 2 toddlers room no. 203 204) and were again completely satisfied. The modern rooms were very clean and cosy. The bathroom with shower toilet was not only functional, but also very pleasant and modern. The children (1.5 and 4.5 years) were able to sleep in extra beds in both rooms, for which sufficient space was available. The staff in the family-run house was very courteous, helpful and consistently very nice. Breakfast offered a rich selection. The outdoor terrace area of the restaurant Gutmann is also very nice. You sit there elevated in the area of an old town wall with beautiful ambience and attentive and friendly service. All the duch will be rounded off under this city wall. In addition, the excellent location of the hotel for family excursions with children is in the vicinity (e.g. Rothsee, Brombachsee, Nuremberg Zoo or Playmobil Funpark near Fürth (to name just a few of the worthwhile excursion destinations). We were not for the first time this year and certainly not for the last time in the Zum Schwarzen Ross.

Good accommodation and hotel. Minus breakfast and restaurant much too expensive so just two stars.

I'm always happy to eat here. It always tastes great and the service is very friendly.

Very nice staff and super delicious food. the spinach dumplings were top.

Eat very enjoyable. but unfortunately chaotic service. Completely planless. That's a shame.
