Island Grill Deli - Hilton Head Island

Am updating my earlier review to let folks know that the IG&D is currently undergoing a complete renovation. I understand the new restaurant will have much more seating and an expanded menu. I 'm not sure of the date for a Grand Reopening, but work is underway now so expect it to be back in business early this year (2024). Looking forward to the improvements to an already great informal eating option. Dropped in to the IG&D to get a little breakfast and coffee. Although the menu was not extensive, the selection was reasonably good. I had pancakes, bacon, coffee. The stack of 3 pancakes was huge and delicious. I could only eat 1, but saved the other 2 for a later meal. The bacon was outstanding smoked and cooked perfectly. The coffee was fresh and hot too. Bottom line, I was blow away by the food and the price. I heartily recommend the IG&D breakfast.

I did not order any food only a diet coke. Enjoyed looking at the T shirts, hats, gifts, ice cream, pool toys.

I totally forgot to take a picture. But the food was AMAZING. We had the french fries, the turkey bacon sandwich, the Philly steak and 2 salads. (4 adults) everything taste good and fresh. I made a request for my sandwich and the lady in the cashier was so nice and willing to help me. It was fast, good and good price. We spend 56$ in total (No drinks) totally worst it for our beach break under the parasol. The lady that works here was very kind and help us a lot!

This place is excellent great atmosphere, family oriented. Nice swimming pool and nice cold drinks great service, they called your name and bring your order anywhere where you're sitting or laying down!! You can also walk to the beach.
