Okko Japanese Sushi Hibachi

Always a good time and good food at Okko! This restaurant is one of our Hilton Head favorites! The teppanakki table is always fun and delicious shrimp, scallops, lobster, filet, strip, and bulgogi were all a hit this time. We look forward to our next visit!

We had a very nice dinner. The food is always very good. The server was very nice and handled everything in a timely manner. The atmosphere in the restaurant is always quiet and very nice. One of our favorite restaurants on the island.

Coming from the north, I tend to be skeptical about sushi in the south, but it surpassed all expectations. We did the hibachi as well and had the chef was very good with all of the silly effects for people who haven't seen them yet. The portions were enormous- enough for at least one if not two lunches! Staff was very attentive and pleasant. Will def come back! Highly recommended.

Okko has lost its luster. Customer service and food quality. The drinks cost are absolutely insane. It’s sad. Maybe it’s new ownership.

They need to get friendlier hostesses, they had bland personalities and barely spoke to us. They set the mood for the rest of the dinner in a negative way so it was easy to pick out things that weren't good, like the taste of my drink cup for example. It tasted like it was just wiped out after its last use and had an off flavor to the condensation, not sanitized, so that was a little weird. Our waiter was attentive and the food was good, just regular hibachi.
