The Carolina Room - Hilton Head

Exceeded our expectations! The service was outstanding and the food was a delightful departure from typical hotel offerings. The cocktails were very inventive, and the dishes were excellent. We tried the Halibut and Trout, both of which were delicious. I also appreciated the option to order half portions on the evening specials, which is perfect if you're watching your calories or simply not very hungry. We will definitely be back!

The pimento cheese and pepper spread made for an excellent appetizer. The salmon was among the best we've ever had. The bartender expertly crafted a perfect martini. Additionally, the complimentary birthday treat was a delightful and special touch.

We stayed at the Westin for a family vacation and dined at this restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Our breakfast experience was exceptional, thanks to our waitress Cari, who was excellent on both occasions. We also enjoyed dinner there, and the food was delicious. The only issue we encountered was that we couldn’t find any menus online, outside the restaurant, or at the front desk.

Raveena was a delightful server. It was odd that the side item titled Benton's Bacon Mac and Cheese had no bacon in it. Raveena was eager to correct the situation and brought a ramekin of chopped bacon. But it was still disappointing since this item cost $8 extra and it didn't seem like the bacon was Benton's. The chocolate lava cake still had the paper under it on the plate. But again, Raveena corrected this by taking it off the bill. The best part of the meal (aside from Raveena's cheerful personality) was the Peach and Pig appetizer-delicious!

Food and service was great. My wife had the Halibut and I had the cauliflower steak. Both were very good. Server was very attentive and brought a positive energy to the dinning the experience. The restaurant has a slight echo and can sound a little more like a casual restaurant as it was a little louder due to some marble tile floors that allow for sound to travel. It was a convenient and nice place to eat when we didn't feel like driving offsite.
