Wayback Burgers - Hilton Head

The restaurant is on the pricier side. The burger lacked flavor, and the milkshake was just average.

The restaurant offers straightforward counter service with a wide variety of choices. The food was enjoyable and served hot.

My boyfriend ordered a classic beef burger, while I opted for the Impossible burger, and both were delicious and nicely prepared. The tater tots were crispy and well-cooked, but we were somewhat disappointed with the fries as they were soggy. Overall, it's a solid burger spot. One thing that did bother me was being prompted to leave a tip after placing my order on the touchscreen. It made me wonder what I was tipping for since there wasn't really any service involved. However, this seems to be a trend in many places now. Additionally, I noticed that the bathroom could use more regular cleaning.

Awesome that this place was open on Thanksgiving we grabbed a bite here in the afternoon. Staff did NOT want to be there but the food was good!

They are actually pretty quick even if there are a lot of people in line. They are good about making the burger how you want it too.
