Totoro - Himeji

One of the best fresh and delicious sushi restaurant in Himeji area. Their sushi has no fishy smells and you really can taste the fish. My best recommendation is back fat of salmon.

One of the best sushi places I tried in Japan! The fish is so fresh and flavorful, the prices are very reasonable! The stuff is very nice and attentive! Highly recommend!

I got the 2000 yen special set. Very good sushi. English menu is provided. I asked for wasabi but they didn't give me any. Also the COVID dividers make standing a pain.

Absolutely the best experience when we were in Himeji to see the castle. Such a hidden gem. The wait was minimal during our visit. In addition, so many awesome drinks to try!

The best sushi stand. All fish came in thick slice and very, very fresh. Rice came with perfect temperature. Really wonder how can they sold at this price. I queued up for more than an hour on Saturday night, but it did worth. I don’t speak Japanese but not a problem here. Only mentioning sushi’s name in Japanese will do the trick.
