Feedback gevenFor a last second trip before it gets too cold and places close to the season this place was pretty decent. Hidden location off Rt 14 and on the lake. I deff want to come back when the bar is open and see the boats at the dock (bf and I stayed night afterthe bar closed for the season). Only down fall was the smell as we entered the room it was like an attic, I'd put a small spaceair freshener in each room before they are booked to help that. I'm from nearby Elmira, Seneca Lake was in my backyard. My bfis from Williamsport PA and enjoys any trip to the lake or the area. We gave this place a thumbs up.
The owners should spend time thinking critically about the direction of their investment. The restaurant and bar atmosphere is overwhelming in the evening with obnoxiously overplayed music pouring from the outdoor event tent. The music can be heardclearly from the rooms, even from the furthest room with the doors and windows closed. We could even feel the floors vibratingthrough the night until about 1 am. Capital has clearly been poured into the event venue with the motel accommodations beggingfor remediation. Paint and thrift store finishes should not be a standard to shoot for. The only upside to the room was themoderately improved bathroom which was still wanting improvement and the newer heating cooling system. If you are a family, couple, or care about relaxing near the sanctuary of the beautiful lake Seneca after a perfect day of wine, cider, and beerchasing look elsewhere. If you are looking for a bar to get smashed in while listening to off key cover bands desecrating themusic you love so you can crawl back to a room with any barnacle that will cling to your anchor, you found the right spot.
Awesome location with live music, good bar food, affordable drinks and good people. The new owner was very nice and friendly! I'll definitely be back
We had such a great time staying here. To be located so close to the lake with all of the accommodations you would need was perfect. The restaurant was delicious, the bar had a great selection of drinks (we?re craft beer drinkers and appreciated thevariety of local beers), KENO!, the servers were excellent and friendly, live music on the dock Friday and Saturday nights, apool.. plus we walked to another nearby restaurant, Sapalta for delicious food as well. Last time we came to the Finger Lakes,we were so remote it was a challenge to even get food. This was a great home base after touring all day the fun didn?t stopand we had everything we needed. Plus, the room price was great in comparison to some of the nearby AirBnBs. As a note to someof the negative reviews we knew what we were getting based on the website and our expectations were managed ahead of time. Westayed in a room overlooking the pool and never expected it to be a Four Seasons. Overall, we would absolutely return.
If your hungary eat. Food is fantastic. Everbody is very sociable. Fantastic view and the bands are great,!!
