Feedback gevenThe burger was pretty good. The disappointment was that my wife wanted to try some beer. We were told (rudely) that they did not make sampler flights. If you want to try, they all need to buy a full beer. Obviously they don't understand how much more money they can make by having a flight option. The customer alone is happy. Looks like a bad model to sell your beer. I guess I forgot the rule that Boomer is always right. Wondering why they're closing. I'm sorry I wanted to raise constructive criticism.
Cool place on the outside, an old chapel with a crowned cross. We were hopeful, especially with a brewery sign in front. As others have noticed, inside you find the owner is a bit of an idiot. He'll be rude to you, which seems to be part of the Schitick (see rules pic), but if you tease him back, he'll throw a tantrum. Décor is more on the greasy spoon diver side, with a TV ring in the background. Better option, the Apple Peddler on the street has a decent beer selection and the food in the house style is pretty good.
There's hardly anyone here on Sunday to lunch, but man is a cool place. Woodwork is beautiful! They also have delicious beers (they are also a brewery).
I've eaten and eaten. Rib eye was on point! Good thing we came back to brunch. We're not going back through Burns without stopping. Boomer is a great cook! Her brown ale is also very tasty.
Stopped here on our fun little road trip. We were craving a burger and Boomers did not disappoint! Boomer made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. We both had the inside out burger with garlic-asiago fries. Quite tasty for sure!! Thank you Boomer!!!
