Feedback gevenWe arrived late, but the staff welcomed us without any judgment or attitude. They seated us next to other families with children, which kept us from feeling annoyed while others enjoyed their romantic Valentine's Day dinners. Despite this, we felt as though we were the only guests in the restaurant. Julie (I believe that was her name) provided exceptional and attentive service, and I truly appreciated her help. Good sushi is easy to come by, but Zendo offers a complete experience with excellent customer service, a pleasant atmosphere, and delicious food all wrapped up together. Get it? I know it’s a bit cheesy, but I couldn't resist!
This is probably the best sushi I've ever had. They were slightly understaffed that night, which made the wait for our food a bit longer than expected. However, the sushi was truly excellent. The deep-fried tuna roll was the highlight of the meal!
We waited over 40 minutes for our food to arrive. Eventually, I had to get up and call someone over the wall, and our meals were produced almost immediately after that. My husband had the Mongolian beef, which he liked, while I had the shrimp with candied walnuts that I didn't particularly enjoy. The fried shrimp was served like a shrimp cocktail with a bit of spicy mayonnaise, but they were somewhat greasy and heavy. The candied walnuts seemed like an afterthought, and the broccoli was so waterlogged that it wasn’t worth eating. There was a very limited selection of wines, which the waitress forgot to offer us; she only mentioned it after we had ordered. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant, although my husband felt differently. The atmosphere also left much to be desired—having three large TVs playing sports and the Fox network on New Year's Eve didn’t create a festive vibe at all. They could have put in a little more effort to make it feel like a celebration.
There weren't enough servers for the number of people. It was Christmas day and it felt like management had underestimated the number of staff. The servers worked really hard to take care of everyone. Otherwise, it was a great meal and we'll definitely be going back.
SO disappointed! Reservation made at Zendo prior to our paint night at Muse. We were seated right away, but then sat at our table for 10 minutes, no service. There were plenty of waitstaff running around, even eyeing my table, as we were looking around for someone... anyone... to pay attention to us. Since time was tight and we needed to eat before painting, we had to walk out. Again, very disappointing.
