This place is so sweet, both in attitude and flavor. They have a short list of about a dozen flavors of hard ice cream and usually have soft serve available, although not today. The prices are relatively gentle and the girls who work there are super lovely. They let us have two flavors in a small and sprinkles are free!!! Such a small thing, but it left such a generous impression.
Adorable ice cream shop in a sweet little town. They 're open in the afternoon/evenings (closed on Mon Tues. . I highly suggest grabbing lunch at Ozzie 's, then stopping into Topsy 's Treats to complete your meal. This shop makes their ice cream in-house using a local creamery. They have nine rotating flavors of hard scoop ice cream and offer soft serve too...with the option to add a flavor burst ! You can enjoy your ice cream inside their air conditioned pink interior (complete w/ Berkshire inspired artwork and drawings by summer youth campers or sit outdoors at one of their shaded picnic tables overlooking a lawn w/ corn-hole. Truly the best of small town, and served with a smile : But they 're only open until the first weekend in September, so go while you can... Lastly, art by Joan Gluck
Glad to see it back open! They offer both hard and soft serve ice cream on multiple cone types (waffle, sugar, plain). While the flavor selection isn't huge they have about 10 options each plus toppings to provide good variety. The hard ice cream is a solid showing but I prefer a higher milk fat content. Didn't try the soft serve so no comment on how it compares locally.
We've passed by many times and never caught them open and today we lucked out. After a long hike on a hot and humid day it was like mirage of an ice cream palace that materialized and saved our sorry souls. They have hard ice cream and soft serve with a variety of flavors. Great friendly service and air conditioned seating inside. A must stop in the hill towns!
