Tokyo Sushi - Hinton

The food was great...a bit slow for the sushi to come but it was very flavourful. The prices were very good.

Although I swore that I would never buy another thing in Hinton because of their predatory photo radar practices hunger got the best of me and we stopped at Tokyo Sushi for lunch. The food prices, especially the Bento box which was under $10, were an absolute bargain. Although the service was not the fastest I have ever seen it was satisfactory, and the food was fresh and delicious. Unless you see yourself as a big city foodie of some sort this is well worth a stop. Just watch your speed in Hinton or you will end up with a few hundred dollar ticket from one of their numerous photo radar cameras.

Middle of Alberta not the place you'd expect decent sushi, but it was quite good. Surprisingly good. Bonus that it was attached to the Econo Lodge where we were staying. Good service.

This is a Korean husband and wife operation and when we walked in all the tables were not cleaned. Luckily we were only ordering takeaway.The chicken teriyaki was a shocker. The chicken was pale white as it had not been cooked through the sauce as it is supposed to be. Having said that we were grateful to be able to eat something close to our hotel just before closing time.

Busy place for a Tuesday. Hard to rate service, not sure if they didn't expect the number of patrons or just go with minimal staff. Food was good though.
