Ichiban Buffet - Hiram

The buffet is decent overall. There are both good and not-so-good choices. It's not a place that would leave you with a stomach ache, so I would return when I'm looking to fill up quickly. However, the food isn't the best I've had. On the plus side, it's clean, and I can always count on it for a hearty meal. Update: I've noticed that the food has improved on average.

There were no many options like what you see in your typical Chinese restaurants, but what they had the main dishes and it was very fresh and tasteful. My favorites that stand out from other Chinese restaurants here is that they have blown up! My second favorite was her sweet and sour soup. I'm not a big fan of sweet and sour soups, but theirs is good!

I have to say here for the first time, and the food was okay. That wasn't the best buffet I've seen, nor was it the worst. For the price it is a good selection of dishes. The atmosphere is very dated. The parts of the restaurant I saw were clean.

The staff was unobtrusive, unlike at some other buffets I've visited. The restaurant was clean, including the restrooms, and there were plenty of seating options, with a nice back dining area that's perfect for groups or parties. My husband really enjoyed his meal, particularly the seafood, spicy shrimp, toads, and octopus. I would have appreciated it more if there were a few more vegetarian-friendly dishes for me to enjoy. Overall, it was a good experience, and I’d consider returning.

I noticed this restaurant was busy after leaving the gym, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, that was a big mistake. After fasting for 13 hours, I was looking forward to a satisfying first meal, but it turned out to be disappointing. The place was unclean, with napkin holders still showing fingerprints and food just left out for hours without anyone refilling the empty trays. Overall, it was a waste of my time.
