To say this place is a gemstone is an understatement. Friendly staff coupled with incredible food will be your experience here nothing short of amazing. The welcoming smile of the owner and the authentic look of the restaurant will instantly overwhelm you with positive moods. Places like these are rarely found in a world where small companies are affected by Covid and large brand competitors. In my humble opinion, a must to visit when in Hiroshima. To give a perspective on employee friendliness, the owner was friendly enough to have a conversation about everything and takes real interest in you to feel welcome at the venue. He was kind enough to give me a gift from Sōchu. 10/10
I spent hours deciding where to eat Hiroshima Okinimiyaki. I'm glad I chose here. You can't speak much English, but they have a simple English menu, that's all you need. Okinimiyaki should be easy! The staff is super friendly, especially if you welcome them with a little Japanese. I ordered and asked to take pictures in Japanese that they were impressed and great. You invited me to take some great moments while cooking what I appreciated. I would definitely go back and recommend this place to anyone who travels to Hiroshima. One of the best Okinimiyaki I've ever had!
Excellent Hiroshima okonomiyaki made right in front of you teppanyaki style. The restaurant is small and cozy. They have English menus available and seem quite strange. We had a wonderful meal and would come back. The food was delicious and we avoided the massive line at the other famous okonomiyaki place a few streets past.
A great place to eat Okonomiyaki and have a cool draft beer on a hot and humid day. The place has a buzzing atmosphere with the many local business men visiting after work to watch baseball which plays in the background. There is a short and simple menu available in English which makes ordering easy. I would recommend going with the Soba green onion garlic with a cool draft beer or a ginger ale!
