Masuhiro Kamihatchobori - Hiroshima

An excellent Okonomiyaki joint in Hatchobori. I enjoyed a lot of fried octopi tentacles (geso yaki). Tenchō invited me to cook Kiji on his teppan. It was fun! Make sure to go when the local baseball team (Carps) plays for extra atmosphere! Local prices also cheap place!

Just my favorite restaurant Hiroshima okonomiyaki. The food is always amazing and the staff is very friendly. Even if the restaurant is busy, employees take the time to take additional customer service such as taking family photos or let children try to make their own okonomiyaki. I recommend it if you're in the area, my favorite is the signature Masuhiroyaki!

Delicious Okonomiyaki with very friendly service. We had seafood and carved pigs okonomiyaki. The quality of the ingredient is high quality. The pancake, noodle and cabbage has a great texture; the stickiness, tenderness contrasts with the crumbiness of the noodle. Atsuchi san came to speak to us personally, and even teaches us how to make the pancake.

We were in Hiroshima for 2 days and tried several okonomiyaki places. This one was by far the best. It’s a bit further from the tourist attractions but is close to the train station. Lots of locals came in for lunch and they get tons of takeout orders. The chef is very nice and it’s amazing watching him at work. Highly recommend!

One of the best dining experiences during a two week trip in Japan! Very tasty Okonomiyaki cooked on the teppan. Big portion, good price. Above all, super friendly staff that made our day. Highly recommended.
