Ichiban Japanese Steak House - Hixson

I have been visiting this restaurant for 26 years, and it continues to be just as excellent now as it was back then.

I really love the food here! While it can be a bit pricey, the portions are generous. I recommend dining in for the best experience and value, as the to-go portions are often quite smaller. Also, try to come during lunchtime to take advantage of the lunch specials, since prices go up after 3 PM. The husband is always incredibly friendly and welcoming, but I have to say that the wife can be quite rude. On our last visit, when we ordered takeout, she insisted that we pre-pay for our order and mentioned a 45-minute wait time for pick-up.

We might have been fortunate to get a table for two, as we received excellent attention from the staff. I definitely recommend this place!

Been coming here for almost 20 years. Best Hibachi in town, best staff in town. Extremely friendly, great prices, and good memories here!!

The chef was heavy handed with the salt food was literally inedible. And I asked for medium steak, even asked when I saw it being overcooked asked that mine be pulled off, I was ignored!
