I had the pho with chicken drumstick here in April. Pho is good, soup is light yet tasty. Chicken was a little rough and overcooked No-frills fast service. Good for when you're hungry and need some quick food.
While I typically don't eat Northern style pho in Saigon because I already know the taste isn't going to be authentic, I heard good things about this place and decided to give it a shot. I was not disappointed. It did have a similar taste to an average pho you can find in Hanoi. The broth was lighter compared to the usual pho in Saigon, the meat was thinly and beautifully cut, the rice noodles were ever so slightly more chewy and the chilli sauce was definitely 100% Northern tongue tingling spicy and a tad bit overwhelming if you put more than a tea spoon of sauce. Of course it's not the best pho I've tried, but for the two times I've been here, I've thoroughly enjoyed their pho and the aroma of the broth permeating the entire space. The scent really gets me. It's just so pleasant and familiar and home hitting for some reason and I'm not even from the North... A bonus for the reasonable price and adorable exterior and interior. Still not a 5 stars because there's room for the service's improvement.
We spotted this restaurant from across the street and decided to give it a try. It was nice inside with what looked like all new matching tables and chairs and everything looked clean. It looks like there is seating for about 24. The phở was very good and filling with little to no fat on the beef. The service was quick and friendly.
Place nice, clean, bright looking. Tried a mix of brisket and flank Pho. Value for money, decent quantity and taste but beef had lots of fats-see pix. Pleasent service.
