Food is always good and so is the service!! Prices are reasonable.
Update: The owner's response below was completely incompetent and frankly rude. I cannot believe that instead of immediately apologizing and offering to rectify the situation, they essentially blamed me for not returning after ordering takeout to resolve the issue. The responsibility should lie with the ownership or management, not the customer. I ordered lunch, it was terrible, and I left a review. Revised rating from 2 stars to 1 star.
The main issue that outweighs any positives is the discriminatory treatment of the LGBTQ+ employee. Terminating someone for planning ahead and ensuring their shift was covered to celebrate their identity and participate in a significant event like Pride is not only morally questionable, but it also shows a lack of understanding and respect for the diverse community the bar claims to embrace. In today's world, it is crucial for businesses to advocate for inclusivity and embrace diversity. By letting go of an employee simply for wanting to attend a Pride event, despite making responsible arrangements for their absence, Brickhouse Bar Grill is sending a damaging message to both its staff and the broader LGBTQ+ community. This decision demonstrates a disregard for the rights and well-being of LGBTQ+ individuals, tarnishing the reputation of an otherwise promising establishment. As a patron, I believe it is important to support businesses that prioritize inclusivity and equality. Unfortunately, Brickhouse Bar Grill has fallen short in meeting these standards. It is disheartening to see a business that claims to be a hub for the community fail in such a critical aspect. I sincerely hope that Brickhouse Bar Grill reflects on its decision and takes steps to address the situation. Employers should champion and stand by their diverse workforce, not discriminate against them based on their identities or activities that promote inclusivity and self-expression. Until Brickhouse Bar Grill demonstrates a genuine commitment to inclusivity and fair treatment for all, I cannot recommend this establishment to LGBTQ+ individuals or anyone who values ethical standards.
Busy AF tonight with a show next door. Took a few minutes to get acknowledged sitting at the bar. I made a mistake with my selection of drinks and tried to apologize to the server who was right and I was wrong. I realized I ordered wrong when the guy next to me told me I screwed up. It did not end well with the server after I tried to tell her she was right I was wrong. Not a good experience over all. Kitchen staff dropped my food not even my server. My wrap was good though. Trying to get a tab took forever. One of the servers disappeared when I wanted to leave.
