Great wait staff who accommodated us even though we didn't have a booking. Fantastic food and atmosphere. Would absolutely go again
It has an attractive appearance with Mexican decor and a nice ambience inside. The menu offers all the usual Mexican dishes found Mexican restaurants everywhere. It also offers a take-away service. We had a beef chimichanga ($24) and a seafood quesadilla ($25), both of which were enjoyable although, like the menu, fairly typical of Mexican restaurants everywhere (except Mexico)The service was fine, and it was a pleasant if fairly bland and run-of-the-mill meal, and I wouldn’t say it was anything above the average for a Mexican restaurant to lift it to ‘Very Good’, so as Trip Advisor doesn’t allow anything between average and very good it will have to be average meaning typical or commonplace.
A fairly bland and average Mexican experience. The staff were helpful and friendly, however the meals were unfortunately underwhelming.
Have eaten Mexican throughout the world including of course Mexico and this rates up there. The trick is always to ask the host what is their speciality and what is best to compliment via their chilli selection. Something rare that others don't have on offer particularly in Hobart which is disappointing. Host (a dead ringer for retired Australian cricketer Merv Hughes) and staff delivered to what was an actioned pack meal and great service that left you wanting more. Interesting suburban restaurant fitout that seems to be out of a movie set that makes it more relaxing! I would highly recommend you try a cocktail, I tried the margarita and is worth just going for alone. We'll be back.
